Return & Refund Policy

At Sage & Sangria LLC, we want you to feel confident when shopping with us. We understand that sometimes a return or exchange is necessary, and we strive to make the process as fair and transparent as possible.

Because our store offers a variety of products fulfilled through different methods, return eligibility varies depending on the type of product purchased. Please review the appropriate section below before requesting a return.

1. Return Eligibility

To qualify for a return, all eligible items must:

  • Be returned within fourteen (14) calendar days of the delivery date.
  • Be unused and unworn.
  • Be in their original condition.
  • Include all original packaging, accessories, inserts, and tags.
  • Be free of odors, stains, pet hair, smoke, excessive handling, or other signs of use.

A proof of purchase or order number is required for all return requests.

Receiving return authorization from Sage & Sangria does not guarantee that a refund will be issued. All returned merchandise is inspected upon arrival. We reserve the right to deny a refund if an item does not meet the requirements outlined in this policy.

2. Sage & Sangria Products

This section applies to products sold directly by Sage & Sangria LLC and fulfilled by us.

Eligible products may include:

  • Books
  • Journals
  • Workbooks
  • Coloring books (unless print on demand)
  • Apparel
  • Accessories
  • Wellness merchandise
  • Other eligible physical products identified on the product page

If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method after the returned item has been received and inspected.

Original shipping charges are nonrefundable unless required by law or the return results from our error.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless:

  • the wrong item was shipped;
  • the item arrived damaged; or
  • the item contains a verified manufacturing defect.

3. Shopify Collective Products

Some products sold on our Website are fulfilled by trusted third party suppliers through Shopify Collective.

Because these products are shipped directly from independent suppliers, return eligibility may differ from products fulfilled by Sage & Sangria.

Depending on the supplier, a Shopify Collective product may be:

  • eligible for return within a specified timeframe;
  • eligible for exchange only;
  • eligible for store credit only; or
  • designated as Final Sale.

The applicable return policy for each Shopify Collective product will be displayed on the product page and, where applicable, during checkout.

If a supplier's return policy differs from this Refund & Return Policy, the supplier's policy will govern that specific product.

Return requests for Shopify Collective products may require approval from the supplier before authorization is issued.

Customers should not return Shopify Collective merchandise until return instructions have been provided.

4. Final Sale Items

The following items are generally nonreturnable and nonrefundable unless required by applicable law:

  • Digital downloads
  • Printable products
  • E books
  • Downloadable journals
  • Downloadable planners
  • Downloadable workbooks
  • Gift cards
  • Personalized products
  • Custom products
  • 1:1 Sessions
  • Clearance items marked Final Sale
  • Shopify Collective products identified as Final Sale
  • Opened hygiene or personal care products where returns are restricted for health or safety reasons

5. Print on Demand Books

Books manufactured after purchase are considered custom produced products.

Because production begins shortly after an order is placed, print on demand books cannot normally be canceled, returned, or exchanged.

Exceptions include:

  • manufacturing defects;
  • printing errors;
  • incorrect product received; or
  • shipping damage.

Minor variations in color, trimming, paper texture, or print alignment are normal characteristics of print on demand manufacturing and are not considered defects.

6. Digital Products

All digital purchases are final.

Once access has been granted or a download has begun, digital products cannot be:

  • returned;
  • exchanged;
  • canceled; or
  • refunded.

Customers are responsible for ensuring compatibility with their devices before purchase.

7. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within seven (7) calendar days of delivery.

Please include:

  • your order number;
  • photographs of the product;
  • photographs of the shipping box;
  • photographs of any damage; and
  • a brief description of the issue.

Failure to report damage within seven (7) days may affect our ability to process your claim.

Depending on the situation, we may:

  • replace the item;
  • issue a refund;
  • issue store credit; or
  • provide another appropriate resolution.

8. Exchanges

Eligible Sage & Sangria products may be exchanged, subject to product availability.

Shopify Collective exchanges are subject to the individual supplier's exchange policy.

Products marked Final Sale are not eligible for exchange.

9. Order Cancellations

Orders may only be canceled before fulfillment begins.

Once an order has entered fulfillment or production, cancellation may no longer be possible.

Print on demand products typically cannot be canceled after production has started.

Shopify Collective orders may become noncancelable once accepted by the supplier.

10. Return Shipping

Unless the return results from our error or a verified defect, customers are responsible for:

  • return shipping costs;
  • shipping insurance (if desired); and
  • ensuring the package is delivered safely.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as Sage & Sangria is not responsible for returns lost during transit.

11. Refund Processing

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

If approved, refunds are generally processed within five (5) to ten (10) business days. Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution or payment provider.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method whenever possible.

12. Chargebacks

If you experience an issue with your order, we encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback through your financial institution.

Most concerns can be resolved quickly through our customer support team.

Submitting a chargeback for merchandise that has been delivered, digital content that has been accessed, or services already provided may delay resolution while supporting documentation is reviewed.

Sage & Sangria reserves the right to dispute fraudulent or inaccurate chargebacks by providing order confirmations, shipment tracking, delivery confirmations, photographs, communications, and other relevant documentation to the payment processor.

13. Return Address

Please do not return merchandise without prior authorization.

Unauthorized returns may be refused or returned to the sender.
